An independent review site built for cat owners who want real information before they spend real money.
Three Kitties started because buying cat products is genuinely confusing. Amazon has thousands of options for any single category. Reviews are mixed, some are fake, prices fluctuate, and sponsored "top picks" lists often reflect ad budgets rather than actual product quality.
We wanted a site that does the research honestly: compare products on the features that actually matter, surface the real pros and cons, and help cat owners make confident decisions without spending hours reading review after review.
The name comes from exactly what you'd expect — three cats, three distinct personalities, and an ongoing real-world product testing lab.
Every buyer's guide on Three Kitties follows the same process:
Before looking at individual products, we map the category: what are the key features buyers care about, what price points exist, what are the common failure modes, and what does a genuinely good product in this category look like versus a mediocre one.
We only feature products with confirmed Amazon listings. Every link on this site uses a real ASIN pulled directly from an amazon.com/dp/ URL. We do not fabricate product data or invent listings.
We look at volume, recency, and patterns in verified purchase reviews. A product with 4.4 stars across 3,000 verified reviews tells a different story than a 4.8-star product with 12 reviews. We weight for volume and flag review pattern anomalies.
Every product card includes genuine pros and cons. If a product has a common complaint in reviews — like a pump that gets noisy after three months — we include it, even if we still recommend the product overall.
Product availability and quality change. We review and update each guide at least once per year, removing discontinued products and adding new launches that clear our threshold.
Three Kitties is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
When you click a "Check Price on Amazon" button and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission. This comes at no additional cost to you — you pay exactly the same price you would have by going to Amazon directly.
This commission is what allows us to maintain the site and invest time in research. It does not influence which products we recommend or how we rank them.
